Baryn Futa became interested in the arts for the first time after he retired. He was working with the Denver Art Museum when he discovered his new-found love for the arts and he sought to embrace it. He set about attending art fairs, museums, and exhibitions, as well as sitting through fine arts appreciation classes, whether they were in virtual classrooms or brick-and-mortar ones. Baryn Futa is a fan of contemporary artists and has a special interest in time-based media. He is also a member of some of the most well known and well regarded museums in the nation.
